How Is Marijuana Taken?
It is important to have a thorough understanding of marijuana, particularly if you think that someone in your family or a close friend has become dependent or addicted to it. Like many other drugs, marijuana comes in very different ways which can be smoked in cigarette form or through a pipe or bong. Marijuana can also be smoked from a device called a vaporizer or it can be cooked into food and turned into something users call an 'edible.'
These different ways of taking marijuana can affect the experience that the user has after consuming the substance. These also vary greatly depending on the region and which part of the world the user might be in. For instance, in America, it is common for users to smoke marijuana in a bowl or in a pipe, whereas in Europe marijuana is commonly smoked with tobacco in cigarette form. It must be kept in mind that although some of this plant causes mood-altering consequences when smoked by the user, the hemp plant can also be used for making clothes, paper and other useful things.
A Brief Introduction to the Use of Marijuana
Generally, cannabis plants that are used for that have a much lower THC content than those that users smoke recreationally. Whereas hemp is legal to possess, if the authorities catch an user with marijuana the user might end up facing jail time. The cannabis plant has a very memorable shape that is in shirts and paraphernalia everywhere. Although non-smokers usually think that the user might smoke the plants' leaves, there is a bit of the plant in which all the THC is concentrated and that is what users smoke to get high. This is what recreational marijuana looks like:
Although frequently users simply smoke the marijuana as a herb form and simply put it in their pipe or cigarette, users might also decide to smoke hash. Hash is made by collecting the strong crystals that fall off the marijuana and making it into a hard substance that users have to burn before crumbling and smoking it. Users need much less hash than marijuana to achieve the same 'high' feeling that they would after consuming huge amounts of the substance. These crystals are frequently called kief.

Kief can be smoked, too. Many marijuana users choose to keep their substance in a container that slowly releases this powdered variety of marijuana is the precursor to hash. Although not all kief is turned into hash, this is frequently done by users because it is easier to handle which in turn makes it easier to smoke. Like marijuana, keif itself can be smoked in cigarette form or through a pipe. The strong THC content that is usually found in the keif can make it unsafe for users, particularly those that do not have a lot of experience and smoking a lot of it could cause feelings of anxiety and paranoia.
